Beaconhouse School System acquired its first school in Europe in 2007. Today, Beaconhouse owns the Pocklington Montessori School and the Cherub Nurseries and Preschools, in Yorkshire and the latest addition is the Newlands School in Seaford, UK.

The schools are highly rated, and in  Pocklington School's Ofsted report, the lead inspector wrote that "I would place Pocklington Montessori School in the top four schools which I have inspected over the last 23 years . . . You have brought Montessori into the 21st Century."

The Cherub Nurseries were established in 1976, and are known for several innovations; they were among the first to install sophisticated web-cameras so anxious parents could see their children over the internet.

Beaconhouse is on its way to acquiring more schools across the UK and Europe.
